I followed my amazing hair dresser here. prices are a tiny bit higher than her last location, but it's worth it so that I stay with her amazing skills. The recent music they have looping is not the best. Comfortable chairs at the washing station. If you're an aveda brand specific person, this is your gold mine. They offer massages and waxing, but I haven't used those services.
I came to this salon because we just moved here and we needed a new stylist. We had an appointment with Tina. She had obviously just smoked a cigarette because she smelled like smoke and hadn't washed her hands that I could tell. I asked for a trim because I've been trying to grow it out and she cut 3 inches of my hair off!
Just walked into salon for wash and blow dry there were 4 people working and no clients and the lady said oh we don't have anything until Tuesday. I was like really! No one has client and this doesn't even take that long! Wow! This is the second time this has happened to me here. I really liked Mary Catherine the one time she Did my hair but, not impressed with service or over snobbish staff or lady running desk today, or there inability to accommodate a simple wash and blow dry.
THE BEST massage therapist in town! Haley is amazing and does such a great job. Very professional. The staff that works the front desk is also wonderful. Very friendly. Great environment.
She also cut my toddler's hair. She did the back with clippers and barely trimmed the top. It was awful when it dried. I had to take him to another salon today to cut the top and even everything out.
I think this is a salon for middle aged to older women. Not for younger people. Would not recommend this salon.
Mary Katherine Messick gives a phenomenal haircut and service!! She knows current hair styles, hair car and recommendations and listens to her customers and provides professional advice about your hair. She represents your salon very well. We will definitely be back.
