We played the recently remodeled Legislator. Absolutely beautiful. Fairways overseeded with rye. Greens are perfect and rolling quick!
This is one of the top 10 public courses in America for good reason. If you love a beautiful hole, number 1 on Judge is all she wrote.

It simply wasn't a fun experience. Played the Judge twice and the other two once. All three are beautiful although the Judge is definitely the most scenic. It was in solid condition and the staff was very friendly. The biggest issue are the greens and the unfair pin positions. 4-putting is not fun. I'm a 3.6 handicap and shot in the low 80's. If I felt the greens were too tough, I can't imagine being an average golfer and shooting 110 here. Waaaay too tough for the average golfer. Not a place to come on a buddies golfing trip where you want to have a relaxing, fun round and try to make putts for money. We quite gambling because it was such a crapshoot.
First of all, I never write reviews for anything. But the experience we had playing these 3 courses could not have been better. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, the course conditions were obviously immaculate, and i will be returning. Most golf courses present photos that look nicer than the actual course, not here though, here the photos of the course on the website didn't even do it justice. Best 3 courses I've ever played.
