My grandson wanted to eat here for his birthday tonight. We had the best server ever. He made sure we were taken care of.
I lived in Atlanta when the first Mellow Mushroom opened. It was the best pizza in Atlanta. A little hole in the wall place with a screen door for an entrance. Personally I don't think they ever got the duplication of their recipe right when they branched out. The food at this location in Prattville is mediocre at best; although people around here would probably disagree with me. Then again, these folks think the Olive Garden is the best thing that ever happened to Italian food. If you're a "foodie" you know exactly what I'm saying.
My buddy took me here when I was in town visiting. We got there just after they opened and there was hardly anyone else there. However, the servers and host were friendly and happy to chat with us for a minute, the food was good, and overall it was a positive experience.
This place totally exceeded my expectations! There was no wait, the staff was friendly and the food was delicious! I also cannot RAVE enough about the service from our waiter, Clark. He was, by far, the best waiter we've EVER had ANYWHERE! He was extremely friendly and kind, gave us options, and frequently checked back with us. We couldn't have asked for more. I will definitely come back!! Ask for Clark, you won't be disappointed!!
We were greeted and seated by friendly and efficient people. The waiter helped us with the menu and promptly took our order and even took an adjustment. The pizza came and we dug in. There was no sauce. We asked the waiter if we were supposed to ask for sauce and did he agree there was no sauce. He said sauce was standard and we didn't have any. He said he would bring it up to someone. Did they offer to get us a pizza with sauce? No. Did they offer to comp us on the order? No. They offered a $2 discount. When we complained they offered a $4 discount. We will not be back.
