My favorite place in town where the locals gather. Good drinks and great food.
Pete Audie and his crew run a good business, personable wait staff, good drinks, and above average food. Been going for more than 15 years and have always enjoyed the "local" atmosphere. Great for singles or couples. Come join the fun, if you enjoy sports they have flat screens everywhere, pool tables, darts, DJ and Karaoke. Good fun for afternoon drink or an evening out. It is a smoking environment, downside for some, but they do have an outdoor area.
Server/bartender was very nice and friendly. However, it took entire to long to get our food after we ordered. We checked online first for a kids menu , which they do have, we took this to mean is was kid friendly. It was not! Realize too late that patrons were allowed to smoke inside the restaurant. This is a massive and unreconcilable fact, that alone will keep us from ever going back. Once we did receive our food it was barely mediocre. The french fries were cold, the gator poboy was flavoless, and the kids cheese burger was burnt. My wife's club sandwich was fine, but then again it is hard to mess up a sandwich. Unless you are a smoker with non existent taste buds, I would not go here.
If you enjoy white trash chic and a toothless smart ass bartender to go with your over priced and under poured drinks in plastic cups, than this place is for you.
This is the place to be. It is a great pub, with a good selection of local, domestic and import beer. They have something for everyone. The food is amazing and the people working here is awesome. I will be back!!
