The experience at Gipson's was an outstanding one and it started as soon as I walked in the door. I was greeted by Gino and he did a great job from start to finish. He was extremely professional and courteous and helped me with the repairs needed on my vehicle. I've lived in Prattville for several years and this was my first visit to Gipson's and I will just say that the great things that I've heard were on full display during my visit. The reputation of Gibson’s tire was truly accentuated during my visit with the great customer service provided by Gino. Outstanding job and Thank you for a great experience!!!!
Can't say enough about how pleased I am with the professional service I received today. Steve was very helpful in helping me with tires purchased from another vendor. Techs did great job. After many rude experiences from the staff at this store, this was the last straw for me. My car's heater wasn't functioning like it should. Everything else was fine, just the heater. We had them look at it and they told me it was a blown head gasket, and quoted me $2100 in repairs (though they said it could be more than that). So I took my car to another shop just to get a second opinion before spending that kind of money. Turns out my head gasket is fine. The only thing wrong with my heater was that the antifreeze reservoir was empty. After they checked to make sure there were no leaks, I filled it back up, and my heater is working perfectly again.
Dropped my truck off at 7:30, had an 11:30 appt but dropped it off early. Came back at 4pm; the tires were rotated and balanced and the oil was changed but the front alignment was not done. My truck was there for over 8 hours and still not complete. I was told that bigger jobs had come in (apparently selling tires trumps other services) and they hadn't got to my front end alignment yet. And to think I bought new tires from here 6 months ago, I guess service after the sale is not that important. I'll have to get the alignment done somewhere else apparently.
Big thanks to Gipson Tire Pros of Prattville. Took vehicle to check charging system and ended up needing a new alternator. I was not pressured into anything else, and the guys got me back on road quickly. Great service and professional staff!
With all the competition in this city available, I cannot recommend Gipson's. Their staff has been rude and condescending not only to me, but too all my family members and friends who go there too. Combine all that with this being a place that won't give you free tire rotations after buying a set of tires there, I can say I'm going to be looking somewhere else for my services.
