Excellent customer service. I walked in to order a meal and I actually messed up the order myself. When they open my purchase and showed me what I ordered I realized my mistake. They fixed it for me and the cashier was very nice during that.
The food is always fixed after you order so it is fresh and hot. The staff are friendly and courteous. This is my childhood comfort food
I came inside because the drive thru line was out to the street. Well, this was a very bad idea. I ended up waiting close to 40 minutes for one Captain's trio. Reason: the were short staffed (only one cashier), super slow, and the #1 reason was an inconsiderate, idiot woman with coupons who wanted to substitute something for each coupon item that she had, then I swear to God it took her an additional 20 minutes to choose between regular white fish and catfish. She literally could not understand the difference no matter how many times the cashier tried to explain why the prices were different. She wanted catfish, but did not want to pay the catfish price. She went back and forth, trying to use a coupon, trying to get the cashier to ring up the catfish as white fish....She was a total disaster and someone that I will never forget....Cook at home if you are going to spend 30minutes haggling over $2... So rude and after all of that, the fish was greasier than a can of Crisco.
Food was reasonably good. Employees were courteous. Do have one issue with this restaurant--It could be called misleading advertising. For instance they offer a meal consisting of certain items for a specified price. Sounds ok so far, right? What you don't find out until you get your receipt is they add for a variety of items that you don't see unless you ask in advance. For instance, they have about a dozen side items available with a meal of which you get a choice of two. Only 4 of the sides are available at no extra charge. Two or three are available for additional $0.39 each. Most of the sides are called "premium" side items available for additional $0.99 each. Percentage wise the difference is substantial. Other than the pricing issue I would offer no complaints. As old saying goes "experience can be expensive ".
You order and sit at a table. They bring the food to you and you don't have to leave a tip. You put your plates up when you finish. The food is always great and the employees are polite.
